Our Decorative Artists

Over the past 40 years we have had the opportunity to work with some very talented employees and co-workers. Some of these people have been skilled artists, interior designers, ﬁnishers, painters and ornamental plasterers; all of them have been dedicated to doing the best work possible for our clients, and we think that is evident when viewing the photographs included on our site.

As for our own employees, they have all been trained on the job, but of course they each brought their own talents and skill sets to begin with. Our actual core staﬀ consists of four individuals, all family related, who are involved with all of our current projects.

Over the years we have formed several business relationships with other artists decorative painters and craftspeople, this enables us to be ﬂexible enough to be capable of handling very large projects, like theatres and hotels, as well as more modest sized residential projects, where only a few staﬀ are needed. We enjoy doing them all!

Art Deco Themed Banquet Room We designed this original Art Deco inspired ceiling design for the client. The design has been hand painted, gilded with silver leaf as well as the cornice. The medallion has been patina glazed with a silver & black metallic glaze & the outer ring has been gilded with silver leaf. Sanderson Centre Final patina glaze is applied to the theatre mural.	Elgin Theatre Full scale sketch is done of the satyr panel, for the sculptor, to reproduce the missing plaster elements from the theatre opera boxes and balcony front facing.
Elgin Theatre Sculptor is finishing off the final details, of the clay satyr panel, which will be used to make the plaster casting mould, to reproduce the missing panels from the opera box facing. Elgin Theatre Reproducing the marbleized effects on the Lobby walls of the theatre. An antiquing, or patina glaze is applied in the final step to tone down the bright pastel colours seen in the photo.	Elgin Theatre Restoring the marbleized wall panels, in the Elgin Lobby stairway.
